- His research areas are in resource recovery and waste to energy technologies and research work done include:
- The development of the first reported demonstration biochar reactors used in Ghana to be stationed in the ten regions of Ghana under a Government of Ghana contract
- The development of a step feed anaerobic fermentation of foodwaste model.
- Isolation of indigenous enzymes for the hydrolysis of fruit waste,’
- Bioethanol and biodiesel production
- Conversion of faecal sludge to biodiesel (FS2BD), a Bill and Melinda Gates sponsored research.
