Under the Mining Sector component of the Natural Resources and Environmental Governance (NREG) Programme, one of the on-going activities is institutional strengthening of the mining sector. As a means of achieving the overall objective of this activity, the Minerals Commission is requesting for information for the Development of Database of Ghanaian Professionals in the field of Geosciences and Mining”. It is expected that the database will assist the development of Government policy regarding employment of Ghanaians in the mining sector.
To facilitate the compilation, all Ghanaian Geoscientists in Ghana and in the Diaspora (i.e Geologists, Geological, Mining, Mineral Processing and Geomatic Engineers; Earth Scientists; Geographic Information System (GIS) Experts, etc.) are kindly requested to provide the following information in spreadsheet format attached to an e-mail:
