The Disaster and Emergency Management (DEM) Hub of the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), Tarkwa is organising a 1-day workplace safety and health conference. This forms part of activities marking the celebration of this year's World Day for Safety and Health at Work. We expect that the conference will offer an opportunity to have an extended time for a much deeper conversation and engagement with industry and academia. The theme and focus for the conference is "The Impacts of Climate Change on Occupational Health and Safety".
