Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for various positions in the Computer Science and Engineering Department and the University Library.
1. Computer Science and Engineering Department
(A)Professor
Qualification/Eligibility
- Applicants for the post of Professor should be or should have been Associate Professors with at least twelve (12) years university teaching experience and a minimum of twenty (20) refereed journal publications arising out of research.
- Professors from recognized universities may also apply.
Associate Professor
Qualification/Eligibility
- Applicants for the post of Associate Professor should be or should have been Senior Lecturers with at least eight (8) years university teaching experience and a minimum of ten (10) refereed journal publications arising out of research.
- Associate Professors from recognized universities may also apply.
(B) Senior Lecturer
Qualification/Eligibility
- Applicants for the post of Senior Lecturer should be or should have been Lecturers with at least four (4) years university teaching experience and a minimum of four (4) refereed journal publications arising out of research.
- Senior Lecturers from recognized universities may also apply.
(C) Lecturer
Qualification/Eligibility
- Applicants for the post of Lecturer should possess MSc, MPhil or preferably a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Research or industrial experience will be an added advantage.
- Lecturers from recognized universities may also apply.
(D) Senior ICT Assistant
Qualification/Eligibility
Applicants for the post of Senior ICT Assistants should possess BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution.
2. UNIVERSITY LIBRARY
(A) Junior Assistant Librarian
Qualification/Eligibility
Candidates seeking appointment as Junior Assistant Librarians should possess Masters Degree in Library/Information Studies or its equivalent professional qualification.
(B) Assistant Librarian
Qualification/Eligibility
Candidates seeking appointment as Assistant Librarians must possess Masters Degree in Library/Information Studies or Masters Degree in addition to a Bachelors Degree in Library Studies.
In each case, the candidates must have acquired two years relevant working experience in a recognized Library.
Or
Candidates must have acquired a Bachelors Degree plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Library Studies with at least three (2) years post qualification experience in a recognized Library.
Remuneration
Remuneration and other conditions of service are as applicable in public universities in Ghana.
